One of the most vital themes in the play is the theme of love. This is represented through various angles of the play. A significant example of love in the play was the love that Frondoso had for Laurencia. To love means to have extreme affection for the other person without conditions. Frondoso loved Laurenica without.
I think this is a touchy subject simply because love brings out many different opinions and beliefs. Kipnis basically argues over the fact that in order to have a good relationship and love someone you have to be able to meet certain requirements which are mutuality, communication, and advanced intimacy.
This essay was a big eye opener for me. My interpretation of what I read this essay is about loves meaning and the different aspects of love. At the beginning of this essay Kipnis says something stands out to me. I personally believe that love is not something that can be rushed.
Do not get me wrong people can be young and fall in love and get married but you have to do it for the right reasons. I myself would love to find someone to have a deep love for. Next part is reading. For example, just imagine that you get new documentation for thirty pages in English about new software in your job and you have to read and understand technical issues in the very short time.
In this time you have to use your reading skills like scanning and skimming. This is skills will help you to understand what about topic without reading and translating every word.
